Additionally, our Sober House Project supports individuals on their journey to recovery creating a nurturing space for healing and transformation. Together, we are committed to creating lasting change.

The Safe house project
Mshikamano provided safe shelter and social working intervention for many childrens in moshi city. Most of these children are orphance and vulnerable(ages 5 to 17) who have bravely overcome challenges such as sexual abuse,severe physical abuse,child marriage,domestic slavery or child trafficking.

Child sponsorship
Mshikamano center supports orphance and vulnerable children by paying their school fees,providing school uniforms and offering free after school education to improve their academic performance

A)Support for young Girls
Mshikamano organization provides young girls with comprehensive education on reproductive health,including family planning,;sexually transmitted infection(STIs),and menstrual health management.this support is essential because many girls lack adequate knowledge and resources to manage their menstrual health safely and confidently,which can expose them to health complications and increase vulnerability to reproductive health challenges To address this gap,the organization delivers awereness session ,health education programs,and guidance through collaboration with qualified and specialized healthcare professionals.

• Mshikamano organization is committed to uplifting women by equipping them with practical knowledge and vocational skills that enable them to engage in small scale income generation activities,improve their livelihoods, and support their families
• The organization provides women with entrepreneurship and vocation training in areas such as
A)Soap production
• The organization also trains women in the in production of different types of soap,including laundry soap,floor cleaning soap,liquid soap and bathing soap.
• This training enables women to develop small businesses,generate suistainable income, and reduce poverty within their households and communities

b)Tailoring and sewing
• Through collaboration with various partners and stakeholders,mshikamano organization offers practical ,hands on training in tailoring and the production of different clothing such as school uniform for our kids and handmade items.these training sessions are conducted at the organization premises in msasani.
• Many wowen ni Moshi city benefit from this practical skills and help to break cycle of poverty among them,

SOBER HOUSE PROJECT
• Mshikamano organization ,in partnership with various stakeholders,has established a rehabilitation support program aimed at assisting youth affected by drug abuse,alcoholic addiction and severe life challenges.
• Through this program,vulnerable young people are referred to specialized sober and rehabilitation centers where they can receive professional care,guidance and support to help them recover and reintegrate into society.
• This initiative have been introduced in response to growing number of youth struggling with substance abuse ,social instability,and lack of direction in life ,which has contributed to increasing rates of crime,dependency and unproductive within the community
• The program seeks to restore hope ,rebuild lives,and impower affected youth to regain their dignity,stability to contribute positively to their families,communities and the nation at large.
